1/26/09 Today we traveled from Winchester, TN southwest down to Roosevelt State Park in Mississippi.

Weather - nice day, no rain.

We headed from TN on down to Huntsville, AL and picked up I65 down to Birmingham where I65 and I20 come together. From there it was on down through Tuscaloosa and Miridian, MS where we stayed with I20. We decided that I20 would keep us in warm enough weather and not have to go all the way south to I10. The temperature had gotten to around 62 in Birmingham and it became a pleasant day.

We ended the day at Roosevelt State Park in Mississippi. A nice park just before getting to Jackson the capital. We had a full hookup in a forest of mixed trees including beech, oak, plenty of squirrels, and daffodils in bloom.
